Extensive ~1,500 km Network: The corridor covers approximately 1,500 km, linking Delhi directly to Guwahati via Siliguri.
Multi-State Interconnectivity: The line spans key urban and economic hubs across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Assam, with stations at Delhi, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Patna, Siliguri, and Guwahati.
Beyond reducing travel times, the high-speed corridor is planned with economical ticket fares (significantly lower than airfares) to support middle-income households, youth, local artisans, and small-scale industries along the route.
