UPSC quiz battles
Solo practice has a blind spot: no clock pressure, and no consequence for a slow answer. In the exam both matter.
A battle puts you against another aspirant on the same set of questions. Wins earn coins and count toward the battle leaderboard.
Here is how a battle works, with an example of the leaderboard. Sign in to play and to see live standings.

How it works
- 1
Choose a subject
Battles can be subject-specific or mixed, so you can target your weakest area rather than whatever comes up.
- 2
Answer against the clock
Both players get the same questions. Speed and accuracy both count, which is closer to the real constraint than untimed practice.
- 3
Earn coins and climb
Wins earn coins and move you up the battle leaderboard, which ranks players by wins across the platform.
Common questions
- Do I need an account to battle?
- Yes. Battles are between two signed-in players and results count toward the leaderboard.
- What are coins for?
- Coins are earned through practice and battles and are used inside the app. Correct answers earn them; wrong answers cost a smaller amount.
- Can I choose the subject?
- Yes. You can battle on a specific subject or on a mixed set.
- Can I see the leaderboard without an account?
- The example on this page shows the format. Live standings are visible once you sign in, because the leaderboard is part of the app rather than a public page.
