Commercial LPG and ATF Prices Rise from 1 November 2026
What changed?
Oil marketing companies raised the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder by ₹10 from 1 November 2026. In Delhi, the reported price became ₹2,820. Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) rose by ₹1.37 per litre to ₹138.50 per litre. The domestic household LPG cylinder price was reported unchanged in the monthly revision.
How monthly revisions work
Commercial LPG and ATF prices are reviewed periodically by oil marketing companies and respond to international product benchmarks, exchange-rate movements and other market costs. The effect varies by city. Commercial LPG is used by restaurants, hotels and other businesses; ATF is a major airline operating input. A price increase may add to business costs, but the pass-through to restaurant prices, airfares or inflation depends on competition, contracts, taxes and firms’ ability to absorb costs.

The distinction between commercial and domestic LPG matters for household impact. A change in the commercial cylinder price does not automatically mean the subsidised or domestic household cylinder price has changed. Likewise, an ATF increase alone does not determine a ticket-price change: airlines consider the overall cost base and demand.
Macroeconomic significance
Fuel-price revisions connect global energy markets to domestic transport, hospitality and service prices. For policymakers, the task is to monitor second-round inflation effects while maintaining viable energy supply and transparent price signals. Consumers and businesses benefit from clear, city-specific disclosures and predictable revision practices.
