Welfare and Legal Safeguards: The Commission will monitor the execution of constitutional safeguards under Article 29 (protecting distinct language, script, and culture) and Article 30 (governing the right to establish and administer educational institutions). It is empowered to review welfare programmes, assess representation in government services, and address grievances with Civil Court powers to summon witnesses and examine evidence.

2. Heritage Conservation and Historical Memory

Telangana's Kakatiya Temple Preservation: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has officially declared the Kakatiya-era Gollala Gudi Temple in Palampet, Mulugu district, as a Monument of National Importance. This east-facing, three-sanctum (Trikutalaya) temple is located near the UNESCO-listed Ramappa Temple and features unique swan carvings and jali work. Under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958, the site is now placed under the ASI's active conservation framework.

Dogri Script Revival in Jammu: Efforts are underway to revive the fading regional alphabet of the Dogri language, which is beginning to reappear in fresh paint on local signboards across the Jammu region.
